Tim and Kate 9.10.2009

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

Tim and Kate chose Michel Chalets, Maleny for their wedding venue. A beautiful, peaceful place to have your wedding. We had some very interesting photo opportunities, many centered around the attire of the Groom and his Groomsman!

“We have just been having a very very big laugh at the photos. I think you have captured us amazingly…given what you had to work with! You have done a great job on the photos, thank you very much for that. It was nice to come back from our first day of work to find them. It really put a smile on our faces. We both want to say we really enjoyed the photoshoot and the effort you put in going along with the madness”.

“Thank you for being our photographer at our wedding.  You were great and we felt so relaxed.  I didn’t even remember seeing you in some of those photos you took of us.  Thank you for uploading the photos so soon.  They are great.  We have received a lot of compliments about the wedding photos! We’re so happy with them”.

A wonderful wedding, even though we had to put up with the dust clouds obscuring the normal fabulous view of the Glasshouse Mountains.

What a wonderful venue! Albertus Chapel,  Maleny is a gem – a photographer’s dream, with its pretty swiss style chapel and winding track with overhanging trees. Chris and Kimberley had a relaxed ceremony and reception at the chapel, before heading off to a photo shoot overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains.

Stephen and Lisa 15.08.09

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Lisa was surrounded by a sea of pink - all her bridesmaids dressed in this subtle colour. Stephen and Lisa’s daughteralmost stole the show, with her fairy outfit, including  a wand. Landsborough Church was the venue for their wedding, a stunning setting. Then it was up the Range to capture the sun setting over the Glasshouse Mountains.

Tim and Amanda 22.08.09

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

Tim and Amanda chose to be married at Tranquil Park, Maleny. They had a wonderful day and everyone obviously enjoyed the day. Our first location for the bridal party photos was at a private home, that has a wonderful winding drive overhung with towering trees. Impressive even though the trees were still in their winter foliage. We went off to a favourite location with views overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains for photographs – and fun with the resident cattle!

PMA Australia 2009 Imaging Technology Show, Sydney

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

PMA – The Photo Marketing Association held their annual show in Sydney at the end of June, and I made the most of this fabulous pool of information and ideas. There were stands from every imaginable business connected to the photographic industry as well as seminars on a number of useful topics for the professional photographer. I spent a few days immersed in photography - looking at the latest trends and equipment – talking to the experts – listening to the gurus and viewing the awe inspiring photographs entered in the competitions. I came away with my head brimming with ideas, invigorated and raring to go!  I also decided I had to think seriously about buying that latest camera…..
