Jacqueline and Paul are embarking on a new business venture here in Maleny. They are busy putting together promotional amd marketing material for their company, ‘Classsic Car Rides’. We went on a photo shoot for one of their cars, a beautiful Graham Paige, which will be in great demand with wedding couples. Our afternoon took in some of the prime wedding venues in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland – The little White Wedding Church, The House of Laurels, Clovelly Estate and Flaxton Gardens. Look out for their website in the near future.

This commercial assignment was to photograph a beach hotel, near the lovely King’s Beach.

Well – this was a colourful assignment. Flame Hill Winery were hosting a grape stomp, and model Megan was daubed in bright swirls of blues and reds. This event was a great success for Flame Hill. If you haven’t had lunch at this wonderful location, you have been missing out.

This property soon to be on the market belongs to Steven and Kathryn Alexander. It is set in the mudst of lush rain forest, and although blue skies were sadly lacking, the house and separate office were easy to photograph, due to the warmth and comfort of the place.

Lindsay makes the most exquisite creations, showcasing scenes in nature. His frogs, snakes and lizards are delightful. I am especially fond of the character sculptures. There has been much discussion and progress this month towards finalising the CD cover for Alexey Yemtsov’s live recording of classical piano music from a recent recital at Lucas Parklands near Montville. Alexey is one of Australia’s most exciting musical talents, a pianist of world class calibre. In addition to the photographs it was a real privilege to listen to him playing challenging pieces by Rachmaninov and Mozart among others. You will have to wait to see and hear the finished CD.

Ian and Hilary asked me to take pictures of their spectacular and historic B&B, Maleny Lodge, located in the centre of Maleny for property marketing purposes.
