Weddings

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Two of the weddings in the month of February were very wet, but a little rain didn’t deter both couples from enjoying themselves.

Jason and Alison 12th February 2009

Jason and Alison were married at their home in Buderim. The ring bearer was just four years old, and in charge not only of the rings, but their jack russell dog, which made for some unusual and amusing photographs.

Kurt and Kristen 14th February 2009

Kurt and Tristen had been planning their wedding for over a year, so the rain was not welcome. I had arranged a number of locations for the bridal shoot, and we wanted to make the most of them. As luck would have it, the rain stopped just at the right time. The bridal party, with the bridesmaids resplendent in red – it was February 14th after all – looked fantastic dodging the puddles. The views of the Glasshouse Mountains were stunning with whispy clouds rising from the valleys. Sun is not essential for a successful wedding!

12th February 2009

This property soon to be on the market belongs to Steven and Kathryn Alexander. It is set in the mudst of lush rain forest, and although blue skies were sadly lacking, the house and separate office were easy to photograph, due to the warmth and comfort of the place.

February 5th 2009

Lindsay makes the most exquisite creations, showcasing scenes in nature. His frogs, snakes and lizards are delightful. I am especially fond of the character sculptures. So – it goes without saying that I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with the camera, photographing  Lindsay’s new creations for his website, have a look at them on  www.lindsaymuir.com
